#MeanGirls10Year Anniversary! So Fetch!
As if I needed another reason to feel old, it's really been 10 years since Mean Girls graced the big screen and changed our lives forever. Regina George, Gretchen Wieners, Karen Smith and Cady Heron blessed us with style, girl code 101: dos and don'ts, and quotable to last a lifetime. A lot of people don't understand the big deal about Mean Girls but when this movie dropped I was a freshman in high school so it was super relatable. I spent the next 4 years being tortured by the mean girls, becoming the mean girl and then just accepting myself. To this day, I can bring up a mean girl quote mid-convo and everyone automatically knows where it's from. That makes it a classic movie. It's safe to say, it is the Clueless of our generation.
So for that, I say thank you to the amazing director, writer (Tina Fey!), cast and friends for making this movie as big as it was.
